On 22.09.2009 Directorate for Development of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEDD) and GTZ-ASE signed memorandum of understanding which explicitly defines duties and responsibilities of both sides in recognition of project “Enhancement of Energy Efficiency in Montenegro”.
Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between the Directorate for development of small and medium sized enterprises and GTZ (German Technical Cooperation) for the project „Enhancement of Energy efficiency in Montenegro“(ASE).
The project aim is entrepreneurship enhancement and promotion of entrepreneurial success stories, creating positive “entrepreneurial climate”, which awards success by public appreciation. »

Director of the Directorate for development of small and medium enterprises Mr. Zoran Vukcevic opened the 11th Fair for small and medium enterprises, and pointed out that this Fair has for years been the good place where small and medium enterprises from Montenegro and wider can present themselves. 
Directorate for development of small and medium enterprises, Employment Office of Montenegro and Federation of Employees of Montenegro held the press conference for the beginning of the Project »A chance for young managers«. 
The presentation of the Project »Development of regional offer of consulting services and markets for export oriented enterprises« was held in hotel Premier, financed by German Federal Ministry for economic cooperation and development, from the Open regional fund resources for South East Europe, which has been carried out in six SEE countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia) by German technical cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit – GTZ www.gtz.de). Partners in Montenegro are Directorate for development of small and medium sized enterprises (www.nasme.me) and company »Adizes Montenegro« (www.adizes.me). 
Bering regard to the successful business cooperation with Macedonian institutions, the Directorate for development of small and medium sized enterprises in cooperation with the Chamber for small business from Republic of Macedonia organized business meetings between Montenegrin and Macedonian enterprises in the field of energy efficiency and construction industry. 
Directorate for development of small and medium sized enterprises, with the technical support of German organization GTZ, initiated the establishment of export service for market information. The main aim is the assistance to Montenegrin small and medium sized enterprises to enhance export capacities and potentials through improvement of market information approach.
Aiming at entrepreneurship affirmation and promotion, Directorate for development of small and medium sized enterprises, the forth year consecutively organizes
Program „Entrepreneurship in schools“ has been realizing by Norwegian NGO Business Innovation Programs in cooperation with the Directorate for development of small and medium sized enterprises. This program is designed for pupils in II and III year of secondary schools, and their teachers, aiming at pondering complete enterprise living cycles, and learning how to deal with problems, obstacles and successes. Offering the base for running their own business, this project underpins general objective of developing business and creating new job positions.
